We arrived in St. Malo, France a costal city surrounded by beach a couple of day ago. We were greeted with the most beautiful weather right after a lightening show. While it’s a quiet place, what it lacks in people it makes up in serenity. I really shouldn’t complain when I have been able to travel the world for the past 3 months, but I can honestly say this is the most relaxed I’ve felt since I left. Sometimes I think it’s just worth taking a moment to breathe and there’s no place better for this than the beach. Last night we saw the most amazing sunset, sat on the pier in the warmth and watched the last of the surfers for the day. Super dreamy.
I grabbed this velvet number in Paris as a little birthday present for myself (and because I’d resisted buying it all over Europe) but I think it was made for wearing at the beach. Well, at the very least it was a head turner. Especially paired with these square gold sunglasses I scored the other day from a little shop in town. I love how they tint everything golden, just like a vintage filter. Not bad for for 5€!
