This week I’ve stayed at home a total of 3 nights and even though I’ve been crashing at friends places, I feel like I’ve had a mini holiday. The only thing that’s bad about this is I haven’t managed to get any work done/get organised because I keep putting it off. So here I am, it’s Sunday evening and I’m catching up on all the work away from work AND How to Get Away with Murder of course. Keep reading for my highs and lows of the week.

Highs:

  • I went to the North Shore to visit Grace yesterday with Abbie and I seriously want to live out there. It’s the closest thing in NZ to Australia I reckon and it’s only a 15 minute drive to get back into the city. If I end up settling in Auckland that’s where you’ll find me.
  • Speaking of – we went to the Mairangi Bay food & wine fest and had the best sliders. The area is super pretty and as you can see above (1st pic) there’s a walkway around the water that’s a photogenic dream.
  • Also going there with Brigit on Friday to have a drink at Regatta in Takapuna by the water at sunset – super pretty and ended up being a spontaneous night out.
  • I’ve been selling heaps of my clothes on my depop, FINALLY.
  • I’m lucky enough to have an awesome manager at work, especially after hearing the situations some of my friends find themselves in.
  • Okay, finally got on the Making a Murderer bandwagon. Definitely recommend, although make sure you read up on the details they chose to leave out about the case too.
  • I’m trying to save, but Glassons is making it hard lately. I want this, this and these. How cool do the new images look too?
  • Always on the search for new lip balms I came across Carmex and there’s no going back – you can find it here

Lows:

  • I guess, people assuming they know what I’m talking about without asking. I often am not only writing about my personal experiences, but my friends and families frustrations on here too. Food for thought.
  • Cutting ties.
ps. TW you were my #1 highlight
